My Pink Stamper Blog Hop Challenge plus more

I followed along with the My Pink Stamper design team blog hop and decided to participate in the challenge, too.  I just got my first set of MPS stamps and hadn't had a chance to use them yet.  Here's what I made...  I think this giraffe is the absolute easiest thing to make.  3 layers and voila!

Recipe:
Create a Critter cartridge: giraffe cut at 5 1/4"
Fiskars punch: clouds and scallop
Papers:  Cosmo Cricket Togetherness and random solid cardstock
Stamp:  MPS Punnylicious
Ruler border:  Cuttlebug Measure by Measure border embossing folder

I loved this giraffe so much, I'm working on a scrapbook page with it now.  I also made this little birdie card using a MPS stamp.  The bird is from Simply Charmed cut at 3 1/2".

The other cards don't have anything Cricuty on them.  I have a whole slew of stamps that I've been neglecting, so I decided to get them out and play.  Enjoy! :)

My Pink Stamper Design Team Challenge

I've been watching Robyn's (aka My Pink Stamper) videos and following her blog since I first got my Cricut over a year and a half ago.  She's lots of fun and I've learned so much from her.  I even won a Hannah Montana cartridge from one of her giveaways.  If you've never been to her blog, go to http://www.mypinkstamper.com/.  Anyway, she's looking for two more people for her design team and is having a challenge to fill those spots.  For the challenge, you had to create a scrapbook layout, card, or other project using your favorite Cricut cartridge and her three favorite colors: pink, green, and brown plus another color of your choice.  Here is what I came up with.  It is the first layout I've made for my baby girl's scrapbook. (She was just born in November and I've been trying to finish up her 19 month old brother's first year album before I started hers.)

Recipe:
Sugar and Spice cardstock by the Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby
Other solid color cardstock by Recollections from Michaels
Cricut Lite Cartridge Sugar and Spice: baby cut at 5"
Cricut Cartridge Sweet Treats:  cupcakes cut at 3"
Cricut Cartridge Alphalicious:  "Baby Cakes" cut at 2.5" and welded on my Gypsy
White 5/8" grosgrain ribbon from Michaels
White gel pen for faux stitching around images

Of course it'll be WAY cuter when I add the pictures of my sweet girl!  :)
That's all!  Thanks for looking and good luck to all who entered!

Long time no post...

Wow!  I can't believe I haven't posted anything since March!  Life got kind of hectic for me and I didn't have a whole lot of time to scrap, much less post my projects.  Here's a brief overview of what has happened since March.  I found out that I was pregnant with our second child in March; my son had his first birthday in May; the school year ended (I teach 4th grade) and I threw his b-day party just a couple days later;  while my in-laws were visiting for his b-day, we remodeled our bathroom (or should I say my father-in-law remodeled it); we took two family vacations- one to Wisconsin and one to Massachusetts and Maine;  my son started walking (more like running)I directed the kids' summer musical at our church; we found out that baby #2 was a girl;  the next school year started; then our little girl, Laila Grace was born in November.  I'm now staying home with the kids until Feb. 28, then back to work I go.
Since I've been home, I've been finding a little more time to work on my son's scrapbook and now I'm excited about starting my daughter's book, too!
I'm going to just share with you some photos of things I've done recently.  I know I haven't taken pictures of everything.  I'll go through my son's scrapbook later and take some more photos.  I'll try to remember some of the carts I used on these, but I may not get them all.  So here you go...

I used ZooBalloo on I think all of these cuts.

All Mixed Up for the title, Doodlecharms for the popsicles, and one of the Christmas carts for the penguin- sorry I can't remember which one.

Storybook for title and Stretch Your Imagination on the rest.  I also ran all the eggs through the cuttlebug with different folders.

Paisley

Paisley again :)  The branch might be from another cart, but I can't remember.  I used my i-Top to make brads for the flower centers.

Designer's Calendar and Cursive 101 for title, From my Kitchen, Sentimentals, Simply Sweet, Gypsy Wanderings, and Doodlecharms

Hello Kitty Font, Stretch Your Imagination, Don Juan

Printing Press, Paper Pups, Locker Talk

Cuttin' Up and Everyday Paper Dolls for all 4 of these...

Card for my friend's baby shower:  Create a Critter

Birthday Bash- one of my new favorites!!

Create a Critter and Simply Charmed- 2 of my other faves!!!!

Birthday Card:  Simply Charmed, Don Juan, and All Mixed Up
That's all I have for now.  I'm in the middle of making two other LOs, so hopefully, I'll have them on here soon.  Thanks for stopping by!
