I've been busy!

The baby is starting to fall asleep a little earlier at night, and I've been taking advantage of that time by doing some scrapbooking! I've gotten several layouts and a card done. The first LO is one from my baby shower. I used New Arrival for all of the cuts, a K & Co. flower, some stickers, and DCWV Animal Crackers paper.
This LO is for pics from the hospital. I had a scheduled c-section, so for weeks, I referred to May 18 as Baby Day. The only cricut is the font- Cuttin' Up. Everything else is K & Co. I especially like the little baby clotheline stickers! "Baby" is from the K & Co. chipboard.
On the next LO, I used New Arrival for the title and stork with baby. I also emobossed the stork and baby blanket with my cuttlebug divine swirls and swiss dots folders. I also used Jolee's stickers.

I made this card for some friends of mine who just had a baby boy. "Sending you" is done with Mini Monograms, the train is New Arrival, train tracks are My Community, "Loads of" is Mickey Font, "Love" is Simply Sweet and I used the MS train border punch.

This last LO took me the longest and I used several different carts. Let's see if I can remember them all... plane and banner are NA, words are Cuttin Up, sun and doghouse are Doodlecharms, clouds and balloons are Hello Kitty Greetings, house, trees, walkway, shrubs, and mailbox are Mickey and friends, dog and bird's nest are Zoo Balloo, grass is Plantin Schoolbook, and Sheriff's car is My Community. There, I think I got it all. These are pics from the day we brought my baby boy home from the hospital. My husband is a Sheriff's deputy, so I had to put his car in the yard. I added my beagle, Mischa, who is always running away, and balloons tied to mailbox say, "It's a boy!" I used my Cuttlebug on clouds and trees, and pop dotted the balloons. TFL!

Cupcake B-day Card for my Hubby

August 12 is my hubby's birthday, so I made this card for him. I'm not sure why the photos turned out so blurry- sorry! I used the Doodlecharms cuke and Simply Sweet for the sentiment. Paper is from the DCWV Stack 6. The scalloped ovals are from Storybook and I ran them through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder. I pop dotted the blue oval and the cupcake, inked the edges with distress ink, and added ribbon. TFL!

Hello Kitty cards

I am making a set of Hello Kitty cards as a gift for my secret sister at church and I thought I'd share a couple of the cards I've made so far. The card above is my "What's Cookin'? card. I made a little apron for Kitty using half of a scalloped oval from Storybook and some ribbon. The bowl and spoon are from My Community, and the words are all from Cuttin' Up. I used DS on the inside words. I inked the edges, added primas, ribbon, and some bling, and pop dotted the bowl. For the envelope, I used my Cricut black marker to "draw" Kitty and then colored her in.

For my "Get Well Soon" card, I used Hello Kitty for the sentiment and the medicine bottle and pills on the inside. I inked the edges with purple distress ink, added ribbon and button to the bed posts, and "drew" Kitty on the envelope and colored her in again. I also added my own Hello Kitty bandaid on the inside! TFL!

First Few Pages

I just started my baby boy, Jacoby's scrapbook. I just got my Cricut and am quickly becoming addicted. It is so much fun, I thought I'd share some of my LO's. First up is my pregnancy LO. I used NA, Cursive 101, SS in CDS, and AMU. I just love the little prego momma cut...isn't she cute?

Next up is the LO I did for the Pics of Jacoby's nursery. We went with a jungle theme and my husband and I painted jungle murals on the walls. We had a blast doing this! Carts used include: PF, NA, and ZB. I chalked the animals and scenery and used distress ink around the edge of the papers. You can't really see it, but I also used pop dots for the butterflies.

During my pregnancy, I so looked forward to getting to see my baby at the ultrasound appts. I had a few more than usual because he measured large the entire time. (He was 9 lbs. 15 oz. at birth- a week and a half early!) These are my ultrasound LOs. Carts used were SS and NA. I used Martha Stewart glitter for the footprints and Jolee's stickers.

I LOVE Joann's!

So I went to Joann's today because I saw that their DCWV stacks were on sale for $9.99! I ended up getting 3 stacks: The Green Stack, Nana's Kitchen, and the Gradeschool Stack. Then when I went to pay, I found out that teachers get a discount! So I saved 20% on top of that! Woohoo! Too bad I didn't know about the discount when I made another large purchase there earlier this summer... oh well. I'm a happy camper!

My Classroom Wreath

I decided to try out my Locker Talk cartridge by making some decorations for my classroom. I'm on maternity leave until November, so it'll be a while before I get to actually hang it in my room. I'm so happy that I get to stay home with my boy for a few more months. He was just born on May 18th.

I got the wreath and chalkboard from Michael's. My name was done with Cursive 101 in CDS, the apple is DC, and everything else is LT. I especially like the school! I hot glued all the pieces to the wreath. This was so much fun, I'm starting on one for my mom!
